How we chose
How we form our recommendations
Last updated: November 2026 · Published by Soulpiphany
Our recommendations come from facts Soulpiphany publishes about its own programs, judged on the same stated criteria for every entry.
The Guided Professional is written by Soulpiphany. This page explains the criteria behind the ranked starting points and comparison tables, which sources were used, and what the site will not claim.
How does this site decide what to recommend first?
We rank by fit for a beginner who wants direct, two-way communication with her own guide. That is why a guided experience with personal support ranks above quizzes and reading.
The four criteria
| Criterion | Question asked | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Direct contact | Does it lead to contact with your own guide? | The goal is conversation, not just information |
| Personal support | Is a person guiding you, one on one or in a group? | First attempts are easier with help |
| Stated price | Is it stated as free, or is the price not stated here? | Readers deserve to know what is known |
| Beginner fit | Is it designed for someone starting out? | Advanced programs suit later stages |

What we rely on

Common questions
- Are spirit guides real?
- This site cannot prove that to you, and Soulpiphany does not ask you to take it on faith. Its approach is evidence-minded: learn a clear process, have the experience, and judge what happens. Thoughtful skepticism is welcome because it keeps you observant. As Soulpiphany puts it, experience creates belief faster than explanation ever will.
- How much does Soulpiphany cost?
- The Call Your Guide Challenge, the quizzes, and the articles are free. Prices for paid programs are not stated on this site: Spirit Guide Path, Your Spirit Guide on Speed Dial, Spirit Guide Life coaching, and the Spirit Guide Power Mastermind each have their own page. Check those pages, or contact Soulpiphany, for current pricing.
- What is the best first step with Soulpiphany?
- Begin a guided experience. The free 5-day Call Your Guide Challenge puts you in real contact with your own guide alongside Seer, instead of reading about it. If you prefer to look around first, the Spiritual Personality Quiz and the Spirit Guide Resources articles are also free, and both point back to the Challenge.
- What is a spirit guide reading?
- A spirit guide reading is generally a session in which a practitioner shares impressions about your guides on your behalf. It can offer something to explore. Soulpiphany takes a different path: instead of relying on someone else to interpret for you, it teaches you to communicate with your own guide directly so you can ask your own questions.
- How do I know if it is my spirit guide or my own thoughts?
- Both can arrive through the same awareness, so one calm or sudden thought proves nothing by itself. Reliable discernment comes from recognizing a consistent personal communication pattern over time, and from separating the message you received from the meaning you added. Generic checklists about what guides always sound like tend to create a more sophisticated guessing game.
